Hey Blockheads! Good call on checking out this website. It's here to give you the lowdown on this year's Kittery Block Party, which is showing all the signs of being the best one yet. Come celebrate the finest from the Seacoast, including restaurants, artists, artisans, local farmers, non-profits, bands, entertainers and some darn good people watching. Come for the festival in the day, take a nap and then run the 5K, then shake your tail feathers to some of the Seacoast's best music and entertainment all night. I quack myself up.

Like great music? We've got a spectacular lineup. How about farm animals? Stop by the petting farm at We Care Cleaners. Action more your thing? Come to one of the 3 shows that Timber Tina and her Lumberjack show are putting on. All this and lots of kids entertainment, incredible food, and arts and crafts from some of our local artisans.

Have a few hours to burn? Or want one of the coolest T Shirts on the Seacoast? Come help out at the Block Party and you will be rewarded with that self satisfied feeling that you made a difference. We still need help at the 5K Road Race, breaking down and cleaning up after the event, the talent show and other nighttime festivities.

What do I know? I'm probably just a duck, or maybe a goose, with a couple notes. Maybe I can knock out 3 chords on the guitar and play the entire Ramone's Discography, maybe not. But let me tell you, friends, this Block has some talent. Check out the fresh offerings of our contestants, both young and old. Yeah, we've got both. 7 pm at the Second Christian Congregationalist Church. Ask Brad, he knows.

Bridging the hours between the day-long street festival and the evening entertainment lineup, the Kittery Block Party 5K runners will enjoy a scenic, early-evening run. Runners will cross the finish line to cheering spectators. Proceeds go to the Traip Academy Sports Boosters. Registration is open, and operators are standing by (not really, but it's open).
